With the Swiss-Trac, obstacles such as ledges and bumps, etc., can be overcome without help from anyone else. Your wheelchair cannot tilt backwards uncontrolled as long as the Swiss-Trac is attached. The maximum ledge height you can ascend is 13 cm and the maximum you can descend is 15 cm.
