Swiss-Trac, the High-Performance Wheelchair Tractor
The Swiss-Trac gives adult and child wheelchair users greater mobility and independence in their everyday life.
The electric add-on drive can be attached to your wheelchair in seconds, instantly increasing your range by a significant amount: you can travel up to 30 km independently and overcome ledges and other obstacles without risk of tipping. The Swiss-Trac masters inclines and uneven terrain effortlessly, even with limited gripping function or poor arm strength.
The Swiss-Trac is tested and approved by the German Technical Inspection Association (TÜV) according to EN 12184
Declaration of conformity according to MDR (EU) 2017/745
German aid number (Hilfsmittelnummer in HMV): 18.99.04.0020
The Swiss-Trac is the best invention after the wheel!

Attach the Swiss-Trac to your wheelchair yourself using the simple bracket. You can be on your way in seconds without wheelchair transfer and drive around with ease.
Ledges & Obstacles
Ledges & Obstacles
You can mount ledges up to 13 cm by moving the handle forwards, which causes the Swiss-Trac to lift the small front wheels of the wheelchair. The combination remains stable and will not tip.
Uneven Terrain & Inclines
Uneven Terrain & Inclines
The Swiss-Trac reliably tows you over cobblestones and nature paths. You can even climb gradients of up to 20 % (or 12 % depending on the model) without difficulty. With the Swiss-Trac attached, you’re guaranteed a stable and comfortable ride.
Luggage & Passengers
Luggage & Passengers
Be it a big load of shopping or a child, the Swiss-Trac copes like a packhorse. Load your luggage onto the luggage carrier or into the front basket. Children up 22 kg can ride along on the Swiss-Trac in the child seat.

The Swiss-Trac can also fly! All international airlines are obliged to transport the Swiss-Trac with you as free luggage. The batteries in the Swiss-Trac are safe to be carried by plane.
Who is the Swiss-Trac for?
The Swiss-Trac is for all wheelchair users who are able to move their wheelchairs a little by themselves. Once attached to the wheelchair, you can control the Swiss-Trac with very little effort, which is why it is suitable not only for paraplegics but also for quadriplegics and hemiplegics. The controls are designed so that you can independently attach and detach, drive, steer and brake the Swiss-Trac – even with limited gripping function. A test drive will help clarify your needs.
Compatible Wheelchairs
The bracket for the Swiss-Trac can be fitted onto most commonly used manual wheelchairs with rigid or folding frames. On folding wheelchairs, the bracket can be removed quickly and easily without tools.
Individual Adaptation
A number of control aids are available for the Swiss-Trac: the driving assistance stabilises the combination in the driving position and thus provides relief for your shoulders. For quadriplegics, a special gas stick and other accessories are available for easy operation.

In terms of kilometres, I’ve practically driven around the world. In altitude metres, I’ve also ‘scaled’ the highest mountain over twenty times with my Swiss-Trac.
